Location: Nova Scotia Complete sawmill and scragg mill operation: SAWMILL OPERATION consists of 25' 3-strand live infeed deck with stop & load, 3-phase motor with gear box. Automatic circular sawmill made from a variety of brand name components, automatic electric over hydraulic carriage, right hand, 3 headblocks with 2 air dogs and one manual dog for longer logs, 10' carriage with 4' extension, 48" inserted tooth saw, V-belt drive with 100 HP 3-phase motor, 575 volt. SCRAGG MILL OPERATION consists of Precision ring debarker, handles logs up to 18", debarked logs move via conveyor to Photo-Y optimizing system to log kicker to Forano circular scragg, 36" saws, processes around 5 logs per minute and 60,000 board feet daily. Live Y-chain belt transports processed cants from both the sawmill and scragg mill to 6" combination bull edger with left side return belt. Edged lumber moves via step chain transfer to custom built double end trimmer. 80' 2-strand green chain. Precision 6-knife chipper, new 200 HP 3-phase power unit with two 8'x12' screens 3" and 2 1/2" holes. This system designed to designed to saw 4' to 16' 40,000 board feet per shift in hardwoods and 60,000 board feet per shift in softwoods. Includes all 575 V electrical with 1200 amp entrance.
