Shop-built light duty band sawmill head assembly, designed to saw without a track. The 14"-wide saw head is mounted in a free-rolling 30" long frame with 4 casters, and has a 6.5 hp gas motor, 12" bandwheels, runs 1" bands, and saws logs from 12" to 20" diameter. The log sets on two 30" long 6"x8" cants which must be placed on a flat surface. One log clamp and one small log stop are bolted into each cants.
