S&W Horizontal Band Mill Model 125 year 2001

• 480 volt three phase 50 HP horizontal band saw head-rig with all hydraulic control, computer set works and video monitors in an enclosed air conditioned saw cab. (Similar to Baker Dominator but heavier built)
• There is a heavy duty 24’ long three strand log infeed deck with a hydraulic tilt loader.
• The head rig can saw 8’ long logs up to 30’ long logs @ 36" maximum diameter.
• It also has a horizontal 30 HP two blade edger that raises and lowers with hydraulic cylinders. The vertical edger can cut up to 6-1/4" thick cants on the second pass.
• It has a built in sawdust conveyor belt that carries the sawdust away from the saw.
• The head rig is followed by two 54" wide x 24’ long heavy duty roll cases. The first roll case has a kicker that can separate slabs by offloading to the side. The second roll case offloads the boards or Cants with Lift up dead rollers.
• The equipment has been taken out of service and is on the yard at our mill in SC
